Intro to Encaustic Workshop at Valley Art Center-Only One Spot Left!
Have you heard of encaustic art and always wondered what it is? Have you seen the beauty of artwork created using this age-old technique and wanted to learn more about how to create your own? Then my two hour Intro to Encaustics Workshop at Valley Art Center in Chagrin Falls is for you. We will cover:
Basic encaustic materials
Encaustic tools and equipment
Studio set up and safe working practices
Variety of working methods and techniques
We will create at least one encaustic piece in this hands-on workshop. Participants will be provided with a variety of handouts and resources for further exploration of this beautiful and versatile hot wax painting process.
